On December 15th, the Bordeaux International Wine Institute (INSEEC) and the winemaking club ‘Wine About’ welcomed Jean-Pierre Xiradakis, owner of La Tupina in Bordeaux, for the release of his new book, “Rencontres des Hommes & des Vins” at Editions FERET. After the conference, students from MBA in Wine Marketing & Management, in Luxury Brand Management and in Tourism Management & Services Marketing tasted a selection of wines presented in the book and selected by Jean Fleury business.


Jean-Pierre XIRADAKIS :Enjoying traveling the vines and talking to the owners, Jean Pierre Xiradakis is also a wise businessman. Beginning in 1968, he now owns five restaurants (l’Epicerie, le Bar Cave, la Kuzina, le Café, la Tupina) and a guest house (Maison Fredon) in Bordeaux. These six establishments constituted the concept of “the gourmet street” of which Mr. Xiradakis is the precursor. Famous restaurant in the world, The Tupina do 40 000 covers per year with a cellar full of prestigious vintages.
